Updated procedure: Pre-notification required for all container trucks
Since late June, an updated safety procedure has been in effect at the Port of Helsingborg. All container transports arriving by road must be pre-notified in our system.
Please note that our gate staff will no longer assist with manual pre-notifications on-site. It is now the responsibility of each haulier to ensure that all transports are properly pre-notified before arrival.
This applies to container transports only – other traffic flows are not affected.
How the updated procedure works:
- Pre-notify the transport
- The haulier, or an authorised driver, must submit a pre-notification via Navis.
- No access yet? Apply via the customer portal:
https://www.port.helsingborg.se/en/customer-portals-pre-notification/
or contact: cargoservice@port.helsingborg.se
Please note that account activation takes approximately 1–2 business days.
- If the driver does not have Visy access
- The haulier must email the driver’s name, personal ID number and the truck visit number to:
hpc@port.helsingborg.se - Upon arrival, the driver must identify themselves at the Gate office, where they will receive a PIN code once their identity has been verified.
- The haulier must email the driver’s name, personal ID number and the truck visit number to:
- Apply for a Visy access card
- Drivers who frequently enter the terminal can apply for a personal Visy access card via:
HHAB Access Card Application Form (PDF)
or directly at the Central gate.
Please allow 1–2 business days for processing the access card request.
