Planned STS Crane Repairs at the Port of Helsingborg
To ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability and service, the Port of Helsingborg will carry out repair and maintenance work on our three STS cranes this autumn.
The work will take place between 13 October and 2 November 2025. During this period, only two of our three cranes will be in service. The project is carefully planned to minimise disruptions, but some impact on operations may occur.
Work schedule week by week:
- Week 40: Crane 18 returns to service after a longer standstill. Among other upgrades, a brand new cabin has been manufactured and installed at quay 904.
- Week 42: Maintenance and repair of Crane 19 at quay 904.
- Weeks 43 and 44: Maintenance and repair of Crane 20 at quay 906. During this period, container handling at the quay will be supported by our mobile crane.
Preventive maintenance and timely upgrades are key parts of our strategy to secure safe, efficient and future-proof port operations – today and tomorrow.
