We’re a Container Specialist with a wide range of experience in the entire supply chain. We can handle your cargo efficiently, situated in the expansive Öresund region right at the centre point between railways and two international highways.
Being the most versatile part of the Port of Helsingborg, the South Harbour handles RoRo traffic, grain, and energy products, as well as warehousing, stuffing, and stripping.
Featuring three container cranes and one mobile crane, the West Harbour handles around 250,000 TEU by sea and 35,000 TEU by rail yearly. Adjacent is our combi terminal, which enables transport directly from ships to railways.
The North Harbour is the most accessible of all our ports and is right next to Helsingborg’s central terminal for trains, buses and ferries. The operational services are dominated by the busy ferry traffic to and from Elsinore, Denmark.
As one of Sweden’s largest ferry ports, a container specialist, and a leading port in Northern Europe, the Port of Helsingborg provides unique infrastructural opportunities for shipping companies, conveyors, and forwarding agents. Railway, road, and sea transport runs tirelessly day and night all year round. Every year, the ferries between Helsingborg and Elsinore usually carry more than 6 million passengers and nearly 2 million vehicles over one of the busiest straits in the world.
8 out of 10 imported goods come to Sweden by sea. Working with a range of shipping companies, the Port of Helsingborg handles cargo transport to all the major European ports and worldwide.
Using our four cranes, 48 machines, and around 70 terminal wagons, we handle more than 7 million tonnes of cargo – every year.
