The South Harbour

Being the most versatile part of the Port of Helsingborg, the South Harbour handles RoRo traffic, grain, and energy products, as well as warehousing, stuffing, and stripping.

The West Harbour

Featuring three container cranes and one mobile crane, the West Harbour handles around 275,000 TEU by sea and 25,000 TEU by rail every year. Adjacent is our combi terminal enabling transports directly from ship to railway.

Nordhamnen

The North Harbour

The North Harbour is the most accessible of all our ports and situated right next to Helsingborg’s central terminal for trains, buses and ferries. The operational services are dominated by the busy ferry traffic to and from Elsinore, Denmark.

The Port of Helsingborg

As one of Sweden’s largest ferry ports, a container specialist, and a leading port in Northern Europe, the Port of Helsingborg provides unique infrastructural opportunities for shipping companies, conveyors, and forwarding agents. Transports by railway, road, and sea run tirelessly day and night, all year round. Every year the ferries between Helsingborg and Helsingor normally carry more than 7 million passengers and close to 2 million vehicles over one of the busiest straits in the world.

8 out of 10 cargos come to Sweden by sea. Working with a range of shipping companies, the Port of Helsingborg handles cargo transport to all the major ports in Europe and further all over the world.

Using our four cranes, 68 machines, and around 70 terminal wagons we handle more than 8 million tonnes of cargo – every year.
